A mi gusto este libro es un cochinero y quisiera nunca haberlo leido. El libro esta bien escrito y como todos los libros de Anabel Hernandez, muy bien documentado. Me refiero a el con el termino de "cochinero" porque es lo que expone. El cochinero que tenemos de politicos jugandonos el dedo en la boca. El libro hace buen trabajo en demostrar de una forma bien documentada que los senores del contrabando no son los supuestos cabecillas de las mafias Mexicanas... los jefes son los politicos y empresarios que protegen y lavan los dineros sucios. Despues de leer este libro le perdi la fe a la guerra contra el narco. 

Una guerra perdida.

I love non-fiction books with recent history themes. This book relates the story of Uganda Dictator Idi Amin told form the eyes of a Scottish Doctor that managed to become very close to this crazy character. The book is a fiction novel based on real facts. I think it does a great job setting up the scenario for this crazy story to take place.

This is the darkest graphic novel I've read so far and what makes it even darker is the fact that it's a memoir . It's amazing… very memorable. I finished reading this novel two weeks ago, and I still can't stop thinking and processing both the art and the story. Great book.

Este libro se publico en 1949 y relata historias vistas desde los ojos del personaje llamado Ti Noel. La etapa de la historia es antes, durante y despues de la Revolucion Haitiana.. El libro mezcla muy bien la ficcion con historias veridicas. Se desarrolla principalmente en Haiti, pero tambien se transporta a Cuba, Santo Domingo e Italia. Me gusto el libro porque igual que los escritos por Garcia Marquez y Juan Rulfo, las historias se desarrollan en Latinoamerica, y te ensenan lo afortunado que somos al formar parte de la misma tribu hispano-parlante.

Well, as a good fan of the OC Weekly I had to support the local talent. It's not a great book, but it's fun to read. The author grew up in Anaheim/Fullerton, so many of his stories revolve around local places I'm familiar with.

Well, this is a sad novel... poor Goliath stood no chance. If God was just he would've spared Goliath's life, even if it as just on this version of the story. Good, short read.
